I'm about to declare PCB until someone comes up w/ something different. Do we want to put a time limit on this and see who can score the highest?

I vote PCB :P

Time limit? Sure, like a week, or two?
How long is this game, anyway?
Like, Bubble Bobble long O_O ?

If I'm not mistaken, it's 5 x 10 stages. I could be totally wrong though. Google it and you should find out.

Okay, PCB it is since I know it runs in MAME well... I've not touched GENS in ages.

I will be unreachable starting next weekend, so how about we play until 11:59 PM Nov 13th, JST. That's a bit more than a week from now. Sound good? I'll get the thread started.

Since God doesn't want me to play Battlefield apparently, I've YOKO'ed my monitor. So, seems that Pang 3 is what we'll be playing? Any reason we should do it and not Mighty Pang? If anyone wants to fight about modes, start doing so now.

Oh no, another single screen action game :whack:

Heh, any pang game is fine. I've only put about 2 minutes total into the entire series though, so my opinion isn't the greatest on this. All the pangs could have infinite score bugs for all I know.

I don't think they do (other than the infinite looping mode).

Nah, Pang 3 is good. Those guys don't even post scores for their game-of-the-week and it's only for people participating every week.

Strange coincidence tho.

I'm somewhat dissapointed no-one wanteed Gunball (I really thought Macaw might rally for this one), but Pang works for me. I would rather play Panic than memorize a bunch of stages, but no matter what I think Kaneda is going to whoop us anyways :P

Humm when was GunBall mentioned?? Of course I'd rather play that then a crappy single screen platformer :)

How about a Dangun feveron competition?

Or JPN Life Force?

I'm in a shooter mood.

B/c there are more than enough shooter competitions at shmups. There's a monthly Cave one at cave-stg.com.

Didn't know that, this is the only forum I'm a member of that has gaming competitions.

How about Arcade Splatterhouse? Or liquid Kids?

I am, and have been thinking about one, but truth be told, I'm REALLY busy these days. You guys feel free to do one... I just won't be able to participate until likely the New Year. I can probably come up w/ something I don't want as a prize though.

Metal Slug sounds fun, but I'd rather do something I can sit down and play for 10-15 minutes. Camel Try always seemed like a good tournament game.
